When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preferences
Document-Specific and Global
For Illustrator to run as smoothly as possible within your workflow, you will need to set up your preferences to your liking. Preferences on a Mac are under the Illustrator menu > Preferences. On a PC they are under the Edit Menu > Preferences.
VERY Important Note: I strongly recommend that you change the preferences with no document open because this will set the preferences for the application. Any preferences set with a document open will only be applied to that document.
At times, preferences may become damaged and may need to be reset to their default values. To restore preferences, press and hold Option+Command+Shift (Mac) or Alt+Control+Shift (PC) as you start Illustrator. The new preferences files ...
