Create and Sync Collections
If you’ve not worked with them before, a collection is a container that can hold any photos you wish to group together—they’re “albums” without trying to cling to the analog metaphor. Lightroom offers a few methods of creating a collection, but here’s how I do it:
1. In your library, select the photos you want to put into the collection. These can be shots from the All Photographs list (which you choose in the Catalog panel within the left sidebar), for example; I often choose Previous Import in the same panel after I’ve imported a card’s worth of images.
2. Click the menu button in the Collections panel and choose Create Collection.
