3 Crop and Straighten
I will admit that too often I think of “cropping” as the simple act of snipping something out of the edge of the frame, perhaps because I catch items like tree branches or tourists that I didn’t spy when taking the photo. But it’s better to think of cropping as “recomposing ” You might find a different focus than what was obvious during capture, or you may realize that a wider, cinematic 16:9 aspect ratio makes the image more dramatic. Or maybe you just need to fix the horizon because the camera was off-kilter.
