2 Tone and Color Adjustments

Editing photos requires not just knowing how to use Lightroom’s tools, but also understanding their capabilities. A dark image usually benefits from a combination of adjustments to shadows, highlights, and white values instead of a simple exposure boost. Improving color often involves a dance among the saturation, vibrance, and white balance controls.

Those are the basics. As you get more proficient, you’ll start to see new possibilities. Working with the hue, saturation, and luminance values can draw out colors only hinted in the original image (particularly raw images.)
