“I’ve never thought of vector art as limiting in any way.”
I’ve been drawing since early childhood. My first inspiration was my mother, who does oil painting. She always supported me and pushed me to draw. Seeing my mother’s vividly colored works since childhood made me accustomed to the idea that colors should be bright and energetic and should draw the eye in. She also taught me that it is a lot easier to impart negativity into a painting than to try to have the piece elicit a positive emotional response.
