1. Get Oriented

Adobe Photoshop has so much packed into it, navigating can be a bit challenging at times. The best way to approach it is as you would a city: Get to know some of the main streets so you can get to the key spots, then learn the rest as you go. Reading the official Adobe Photoshop manual from end to end would have no substantive context without this basic map sense, and your brain needs context for making complex connections—at least mine does. The key is to have digital-courage! Photoshop is huge, but do not be afraid to click on something, try a new thing, or act on impulsive curiosity.
