Extra Credit: Generating asset files from layers
You can quickly create JPEG, PNG, or GIF image assets from layers or layer groups in your Photoshop file using Adobe Generator, which was introduced in the Photoshop 14.1 update.
To generate assets, you must first enable Generator. Then, rename the layers or layer groups that you want to save as separate asset files, using the file extension for the format you want to use. You can also specify quality settings and file size within the file name. You can even create multiple assets from the same layer by separating layer names with a comma.
