Profile Mismatch Warnings

Now, just because your image has a proper profile assigned to it doesn't mean that Photoshop will stop bugging you about all this color business. If you open an image and the profile that is assigned to it is not the same as what you used when creating new documents (known as your RGB Working Space), then Photoshop will warn you (Figure 7.13). Most of the time, you'll just want to choose the top option and click OK, which will tell Photoshop not do anything special with the image. But, if the embedded profile that's attached to the image is the name of a product (scanner, monitor, printer, and so on), then equal amounts of red, green and blue might not make a perfect gray.
