Auto Color
I often get frustrated when attempting to make generic color shifts using Levels or Curves because the image can change in unexpected ways (due to the fact that you're not just controlling the highlight/midtones/shadows like many other adjustments). If I'm having trouble getting the overall look I was aiming for, then I'll end up clicking on the Options button in either Levels or Curves, which sends me into the Auto Color Correction Options dialog box. I like to set the Algorithms setting to Enhance Monochromatic Contrast so I don't get rid of color in the highlights or shadows of the image.
