Levels/Curves and Color

Choosing Image > Adjustments > Curves (or selecting Curves in the Adjustments panel) allows you to pick between red, green, and blue; or cyan, magenta, and yellow (depending on which mode the image uses) in the Channel pop-up menu (Figure 8.43). When you work on the Red channel, you’ll be able to shift the overall color of the image toward either red or cyan by moving the curve up or down; if you work on the Green channel, you’ll be able to shift toward green and magenta; and the Blue channel allows you to shift toward blue and yellow.
