Chapter 2. Basic Organizing

After capturing your memories with your digital camera, you’ll want to store and organize your pictures on your computer. This lesson gets you started with the essential skills you’ll need to import and track your images.

In this lesson you will learn how to do the following:

  1. Open Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 in Organizer mode.

  2. Create a catalog of your images.

  3. Import images into a catalog from a digital camera or from folders on your computer.

  4. Change the display of thumbnails in your catalog.

  5. Create, organize, and apply tags to images.
