My photographic journey started early, when I was given a book on photography and a well-used, second hand Nikon F2 film camera at the age of thirteen.
I continued to shoot film for many years, all the way up until college. By that time, the age of consumer digital photography was just beginning; I was encouraged to make the switch, and found that in transitioning from film to digital, I would also need to learn an entirely new skill set for the digital darkroom.
