Lesson 4. Editing Video
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to take uncut footage as imported from a DV camera and shape it into a refined final version. You’ll use these basic editing techniques:
• Rearranging clips in the Timeline.
• Trimming clips.
• Inserting and overwriting clips.
• Importing clips from another project.
• Fine-tuning clips.
Over the course of this lesson you will work on a 1 minute short home movie. You’ll be working with video and audio clips provided on the DVD-ROM included with this Adobe Premiere Elements Classroom in a Book. If you were actually producing this project, you would be importing the video from a digital video camera using the Capture function.
