6. Working with Effects
Lesson overview
Video effects and adjustments allow you to improve the appearance of your clips, add pan and zoom effects, superimpose one clip over another, add special effects like lightning or earthquake motion, and otherwise enhance your video. Learning how to apply and configure these effects is a critical skill and the natural next step of your evolution as a video editor.
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to apply effects and adjustments to the NASA Space Shuttle clips that you used in previous lessons, as well as several new clips. Specifically, you’ll learn how to do the following:
