Editing Multi-Cam
We now have a continuous multi-cam clip in the timeline. It should be playing Camera 1, albeit punched in.
Switching Cameras
The goal of this shoot was to switch to Camera 2 whenever there’s a demonstration on the ukulele. The first one of these occurs at 00:00:05:06, after the words “four strings.” Navigate to that time.
Switching between shots on a synced multi-cam source sequence couldn’t be easier.
- Double-click on the clip in the timeline.
This will open it in the Source Monitor, complete with a side-by-side of both cameras.
- To switch the clip to Camera 2, simply select it in the Source Monitor.
Easy, right? ...
