Bringing Footage into the Timeline
You’ve identified the shot you want, found that perfect moment with In and Out points, and possibly created a sequence. Now, let’s explore the multitude of ways we can get shots into our timeline.
Drag and Drop
The simplest method is to drag your picture from the Source Monitor into the timeline. Doing so uses the Overwrite function (see the following page).
