Syncing External Audio Sources
When your video and audio files were recorded separately and come in as two distinct files, working with them can be a real hassle. Sync them before you start working so Premiere recognizes them as a pair.
First, let’s identify the ways Premiere can sync files so we can choose with method to use.
In/Out Points
This is our way of manually syncing two clips. To do so, in the Source Monitor we must designate an In and Out point on both our video and audio clips that occurs at the same time. Often, this is when slating your shots comes in handy.
