Editing Graphic Layers

After creating a new shape or text, note that a new layer has been created in your timeline. This is a Graphic layer, and it can contain both shapes and texts. With this Graphic layer selected, drawing a new shape or adding new text adds it to that Graphic layer. This is useful if you want elements to appear or dissapear at the same time, such as a lower third with a title sliding on. Without a Graphic layer selected, adding a new shape or text creates a new Graphic layer. Use this method if you want your shapes or text to appear at different times.

Edit a Graphic layer as you would any other layer, but note that Graphic layers do not exist in the Project panel.
