Video Transitions
Transitions are easy ways to blend either from one shot to another, or from one shot into nothing (such as with a fade out). They’re far quicker and simpler than keyframing effects.
Applying Video Transitions
Find the Video Transitions folder in the Effects panel. Like Video Effects, it’s divided into categories.
Apply a Video Transition by dragging it to the end of a clip. If that clip has another clip adjacent, the transition will occur between the two clips. If that clip does not have another clip adjacent, the transition will occur between the clip and nothing.
