Change comes from the emergent behavior of empowered individuals

Summary

Realizing and sustaining change comes from doing things differently and from an empowered emergent behavior with ownership. All of these are emotionally driven responses which require rationalization. The simple motivations of “fear and greed” or the “moving towards and away from” are manifestations form a range of complex emotions which includes: the sense of ownership, a feeling of empowerment, being trusted and respected, as well as feeling valued and appreciated, alongside self-esteem and self-worth.
