When I first meet people, I often ask, “Who were your heroes growing up and why?” I have found that in this simple question, you learn a lot about a person. You learn about their core values—in other words, what makes them tick. Their response helps you to understand their framework or outlook on life and the mark they want to leave as their legacy.
