Linux How To’s

The previous chapter provided a review of the useful analysis utilities available in Linux, so now is a good moment to provide an alternative view of the same topic. This time the focus will not be on the utilities per se, but rather on showing how some of the most frequently performed tasks can be completed.

There is typically more than one way to complete an analysis task. For each of the tasks described in this chapter, alternative ways of completing the task will be provided.
