Soft-Switching DC/AC Inverters
The soft-switching technique has been implemented in DC/DC conversion for more than 25 years. We also would like to introduce this technique in DC/AC inverters in this chapter.
There are numerous ways of implementing soft-switching methods, such as zero voltage switching (ZVS) and zero current switching (ZCS), to reduce the switching losses and to increase efficiency for different multilevel inverters.
