Creating Highly Relevant Ad Groups

Relevance is a subjective word, and yet being relevant determines much about your account’s success. There are four main places where Google attempts to ascertain relevance:

  • Keyword to ad copy
  • Ad copy to landing page
  • Keyword to landing page
  • Ad copy and keyword to content network sites

In these four instances, you might not be able to quantify relevance; however, there are exercises and research you can conduct to help ensure you are coming close to meeting Google’s relevance guidelines.
