How to Scale Your Account
Most of the best practices examine how to create small ad groups of tightly themed keywords and hand-write ad copy that can be tested for those keywords.
While this is best practice, it is not always practical when you are managing thousands of ad groups, tens of thousands of keywords, and thousands of pieces of ad copy. However, there are ways of mass-creating keywords and ad copy inside a spreadsheet program and then using the AdWords Editor to import that information into your account.
