Basic Report Making

We'll start with a basic system that works on Netscape 4 and above. Here's the plan: There are two frames. One frame, the menu frame, contains two lists. These two lists are for adding rows to the table and removing rows from the table. The table itself (the report) is in the other frame. It looks like Figure 2-1.

There are five projects across the top of our empty report. By clicking the links under the “Add” heading in the left frame, rows are added to the table. Note the report page reloads each time a row is added. If you click all of the “Add” links, the page looks like Figure ...
