Joomla and Web Services
Almost daily, the number of available web services that a site can use for free is increasing. You can post photos, keep a journal, access e-mail, create presentations, post messages, author a blog, and use numerous other offerings. Although you cannot integrate all of these web services into your own web site, the breadth and reach of those you can use is impressive.
For a Joomla site owner, there are a number of back-end web services that can be added to a web site, such as:
- Using Google or Flickr to search for and display images based on the page being visited
- Playing video on your site through YouTube
