Document Property Quick Parts

In previous versions of Word, you might have used fields to add information to your document, such as Title or Author. In Word 2007, Document Property Quick Parts replace and substantially expand on this functionality.

When you insert any of the Document Property Quick Parts shown here into the document, they appear inside a Content Control. Each of these controls is bound to data stored in your document. You can add or edit some of this data through the Document Properties dialog box or the new Document Information Panel, discussed later.
