Using the Trust Center
I love the name Trust Center. It sounds so imposing, as if you have a personal security system (or, perhaps, a tiny but powerful Doberman Pinscher) stored directly in the 2007 Office release programs, ready to protect your documents at any cost.
The fact is, though there are a few new options, the Trust Center is really just a reorganization of security settings, bringing together related options you already know from earlier versions. Essentially, you can find the following types of settings in the Trust Center.
Preferences for trusted file locations (includes default file locations, such as User Templates)
Permissions and related behavior for non-native functionality, such as macros and ActiveX controls
