Signing up to Firebase

Firebase requires a Google account. Assuming we have one available, we can access the features of Firebase at https://console.firebase.google.com/. When this screen appears, click the Add project button to start the process of adding Firebase support:

Choose a meaningful name for the project. Before we can create the project, we should read the terms and conditions for using Firebase and tick the checkbox if we agree with them. Note that if we choose to share usage statistics for Google Analytics, we should read the appropriate terms and conditions and check the controller-controller terms checkbox as well:
