One interesting advertisement is from the domain of digital marketing. Google is a brand that is used by millions of consumers all over the world. When Google introduced its browser, Google Chrome, one of the objectives of Google Chrome was to break the stranglehold of Microsoft’s browser, Internet Explorer, which was the default choice for consumers at the time (Warren, 2018). Google Chrome ran a global advertising campaign throughout 2011 and 2012 and it was called ‘the web is what you make out of it’ (Sikdar, 2019).
