Expression Helpers
Because keyframe animation is such a powerful technique, After Effects includes various tools to help make the process easier and more productive. Some of these tools, such as the Wiggler and the Smoother, live on the Window menu. Others, such as Easy Ease and Exponential Scale, live on the Animation > Keyframe Assistants menu. This book is about Expressions, not keyframes, so I won’t waste space explaining keyframe helpers (however, if you don’t know how to use them, you owe it to yourself to learn, so get ye to online help!); instead, I will spend this chapter introducing you to various tools that help with Expressions.
