This chapter covers the third and last part of the book. The book started with the topic of neural networks, which are computational metaphors for the biological brain. Subsequently, the book covered genetic algorithms, computational simulations of species evolution. After these two parts, the question that may naturally be asked is: Is it possible to evolve neural networks in a fashion similar to how our biological brains went through evolution over thousands of years?
