This chapter stressed that while launch might be the end of the project, it’s just the beginning of a new life for the product or service and it’s where the real learning begins. From here it’s essential to embark on a programme of listening to customers and measuring the rate of success to prioritise and focus on improvements that will deliver the most value.

There’s a wide range of tools and techniques that you can use to measure and assess digital product success. However, data and logic is not always enough on its own to make an informed decision. Instead, we recommend that you use a combination of qualitative and quantitative tools to gain a holistic view and inform a programme of continuous improvement.
