What is it?
It’s an expert review of the customer experience of an existing product.
Why do it?
Do it to understand what works and what doesn’t from a customer experience perspective.
When to do it?
Do it at the beginning of a major redesign project, in the early stages of a new product development project (evaluating competitors), or afterward as part of evolution.
How to do it?
• Grab your personas and their goals and get ready for some role-play.
• Immerse yourself in the persona and try to complete the tasks to achieve the goals from each persona’s perspective.
