Influenced by lean thinking, which has its roots in the production process of Toyota, Scrum mapped these principles to software development. The result is a powerful framework for managing iterative-incremental projects. In this chapter, we’ll investigate how Scrum practices can be extended and applied in the context of agile portfolio management.
