The first part of this book is intended for managers who would like to learn more about the benefits and motivations for agile software development. It is an introduction to what agile is and why agile development works especially well in dynamic marketplaces. The three chapters in this first part will set the stage for agile portfolio management which we will explore in the second part of this book in more depth.
