It’s long past time we started writing the code that supports and verifies the designs we’ve been spinning. I’ll be creating that code in very small, incremental steps, but I’ll show it to you only at convenient points in the text. Don’t let the fact that you see only fully formed snapshots of code mislead you into thinking that I wrote it in that form.
