Description and Rationale
Offer Appreciations is a versatile activity. You can use it to Set the Stage for appreciating how team members worked together. You can use it to Close the Retrospective to appreciate another team member’s contribution to the meeting. You can use it as a refreshing pause in the middle of the retrospective if the team needs a break.
Time Needed
Officially, 15-30 minutes, depending on the size of the group. In reality, allow two to three minutes per the number of people present. Some will need less time, others will need more. Prepare for flexibility.
