Conclusion

As discussed in the beginning of this publication, today’s manager would be unrecognizable to Henri Fayol whose managerial functions involved the verbs planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling. To assist the agile manager in a volatile world, this publication introduced a new way of thinking and shifted managerial functions from verbs to the nouns: curator, architect, conductor, humanist, advocate, and pioneer.
