5.1 Data for Decision-Making
Data are the source for generating the information and knowledge needed to make proper operational and strategic maintenance management decisions. Maintenance data comprise:
- Data collected during the execution of preventive maintenance (PM) and condition monitoring (CM).
- Various kinds of supplementary data (e.g. age of machines, spare parts, waiting time, and travel time for repair and service).
