MOST GAMES are fairly modest in the AI techniques they use, and in the behaviors they want to achieve. AI that stands out and is conspicuous is not normally good AI. From

time to time, however, games appear that feature specific AI techniques as a game mechanic. The challenge comes from manipulating the mind of characters in the game.

As an AI programmer, it would be lovely to see more of this kind of title, but as yet, there have been relatively few examples based on a limited number of game styles.
