Creating a Complex Data Access Page
So far, you have seen how to create simple data access pages. We will now delve into some more complex aspects of data access pages. These include grouping and using pages based on data from multiple tables.
Adding Groupings to Your Data Access Pages
It is easy to add groupings to the data access pages that you build. Here are the steps involved:
1. | Select Pages in the list of objects. |
2. | Double-click to create a new page in Design view. |
3. | Click OK when prompted with the warning message. |
4. | Display the Field List, if it is not already visible. |
5. | Select the CustomerID, CompanyName, ContactName, ContactTitle, Phone, and Fax fields (see Figure 22.23).
