Rethinking the DEIB Issue

Ensuring you don’t get stuck in the zero-sum game of the Diversity Equation means refocusing on two things: inclusion and equity. When you create a culture and environment that is welcoming and accessible to people of all backgrounds, cultures, and abilities, you will attract more people from underrepresented groups. The more under-represented people you both bring into and keep at the company, the more people feel like they belong because they see more and more people like themselves working there. This will result in more awareness and advocacy for change to support more underrepresented groups as employees.
