CHAPTER 6 Industry Use Cases
We’ve described the AI strategic archetypes of leading AI adopters and some of the capabilities they have built to realize those objectives. In this chapter we will be much more granular in describing what AI leaders do. We’ll focus by industry segment and delve into the specific use cases that AI-fueled companies adopt in order to lead those industries. Use cases—also known as AI applications—are the fundamental unit for describing what a company does with AI. Much of the use case information in this chapter is adapted from the AI Dossier, a document that Deloitte AI experts put together to describe AI leadership from the bottom up—use case by use case, industry by industry.1
