Deborah Meaden is one of the longest running Dragons on the television show Dragons’ Den, having been there since the third series. She started her own glass and ceramics importing business at the age of 19 before joining the family business running holiday parks. She went on to take control of the business in a management buyout before selling it for £33 million. She has since invested in many entrepreneurial businesses, from ice cream to photo booths, both through her role on Dragons’ Den and outside it, and is very involved in advising them and helping them to grow.
