How to Do Hydraulic Calculations

Hydraulic calculations are mainly used by practitioners to size compressors, pumps, pipes, and so on. We have to do a great many of them in professional practice, and much of this work is less than conclusive. We therefore need a way to do them just rigorously enough to meet our immediate needs. In this chapter I explain how professional engineers do this.
