CHAPTER 11: SERVICE MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATIONS

Compared to when I started in the industry, service management qualifications are ten to the penny today.

In the early noughties, I was led to pursue ITIL certification since it seemed like the most logical course to take. This road served me well and provided an excellent foundation; at least, that’s how I felt at the time (*foundation pun intended).

Since then, through a mixture of my roles and training/certification, my knowledge of service management methodologies has increased along with my knowledge and experience in the field.

I will cover as many of those certifications as I can think of that are readily available at the time of writing, Q1 2023.
