Traveling to speak at conferences around the world, I get to see many new places and meet some great people. But my professional travels are not always about what happens at the final destination. Along the way, I often see and experience many interactions between people and their environment that end up being part of what I take back to work with me. These interactions can only be experienced firsthand. They can’t be imagined whilst at your desk; you need to bump into them for them to leave a mark on you.
