15. Don’t Think

I’ve always been a big fan of instinct. And I think a lot of that comes from working as a photographer—specifically, the time I spent working part-time for my dad around 1996. My dad, John Dawes, has been a newspaper photographer all his life—it’s all he’s ever known. Most of that time, he’s been a sports photographer, covering a lot of the world’s major sporting events over the last four decades.
